TAMBOURINE TIPS
Keep in time with the music and the rest of the group
Tap the tambourine with a bent hand. Don't slap with a flat hand (doesn't sound good)
Make big movements with the tambourine
Look at and past the tambourine
Maintain a graceful posture when playing, point toe and don't stick your bottom out
Smile!
Left hand follows the tambourine (generally)
Zips - thumb to tambourine, not tambourine to thumb
A tambourine is an extension of your body (like a flag is)
Hold the tambourine at an angle to keep it quiet
Always put in lots of practice
